Kim & Jason - Sneak Peek

Kim & Jason have been waiting very patiently for their sneak peek. When these Ontarians told us they chose Victoria as the destination for their ceremony in part because they wanted FunkyTown to photograph their wedding, it flattered the pants off us! We loved the splash of red in Kim's dress - very appropriate considering she's also an RCMP officer. The boots you see in the pics are hers as well. Since these two allowed FOUR FULL HOURS of photography, we were lucky to have a lot of time to experiment and have fun. The fact that we were able to have so much variety means I'm going to overload this blog with pictures and I'm afraid there isn't enough room for their ceremony. Ack! Working with Kim & Jason was an absolute dream and we are incredibly excited to share these pictures with them. Congratulations Kim & Jason - enjoy the pictures!

Kendra & Dustin - Sneak Peek

Kendra & Dustin came all the way from Kansas for their elopment at the English Inn here in Victoria. The day started off wet and we were a little worried it might carry though the day but everything completely stopped just as they were about to say their vows and the sky turned into an awesome shade of blue. We were lucky to have lots of time for photographs - almost three hours - which meant a ton of variety and lots of experimenting. We had so many laughs with these two throughout their day and it was fun for us to see our city through their eyes. There are too many pictures to count and we're still going through them all so stay tuned because we'll be adding more soon. In the meantime, Kendra & Dustin, thanks again for including us in your day and we wish you many happy years!!

Rachael & Wendy

We've only had a chance to have a quick sneek peek ourselves for Rachael & Wendy's wedding at the Sooke Harbour House but we think these two look so awesome. Our fantastic associate photographers Laura Taylor and Julie Williams photographed this wedding and we'll be asking for some extra words for our blogs. They did an awesome job and we're excited to share the photos with these two fun women. As a P.S.... we love the hats and jackets!!!
