Brenda and Ed were one of those couples who literally couldn't take their eyes off each other and they were a lot of fun to work with. Here are some of the highlights of the day taken with my camera. PHOTOGRAPHER: EUNICE

Yesterday, I had a photoshoot with two very talented kids: Qristina and Quinn. They are musicians and wanted photographs for a CD cover. I couldn't ask for better light -- the sky was incredible and the kids were troupers. They posed for
hours in the cold without losing patience. We went downtown, my favorite place for pictures, and to the breakwater. Mom (Maria) and
Dad (Adrien) couldn't be more proud of their kids! Good luck to Qristina and Quinn... I know you are going to be stars!!!!

Gabby's Ballet Portraits

Gabby is going to be ballet star. She is an adorable and talented girl and has been doing ballet for many years. Gabby is going to a new ballet school and needed some pictures to complete her application. I love to photograph dancers because they have such a control of their bodies. Well, judging from the results of these pictures, I can tell you she is definitely in!! Good luck Gabby!

Cafe Brio Wedding

Opening in June 2008!

We've just signed the lease on a studio in downtown Victoria and we officially open in June 2008! In the meantime, Eunice and Christina have started to rebrand both of their websites and blogs. If you're looking for posts from 2007, you're welcome to visit either Christina's blog or Eunice's blog.

WPJA Awards!

Christina is a new member of the International Wedding Photojournalists Association and a few of her images placed in the organization's annual contest for 2007! There were thousands of entries from all over the world, and submissions are judged by high-profile photojournalists from international news organizations, so she was pretty pleased with her placements. Many thanks to our awesome clients for providing so much inspiration.

4th Place - Kids Being Kids JUDGES COMMENTS:It feels like I'm looking at two separate pictures that happen to be in the same frame.

8th Place - Transportation JUDGES COMMENTS:I loved this picture, it says so much about the journey of marriage. Very symbolic. Beautiful light, wonderful composition. Took me worlds away from the cliches.

12th Place JUDGES COMMENTS: This is a very refreshing photo. The photographer stepped outside the traditional banquet hall setting to capture the wedding party hitting golf balls into the ocean. I wish there were more photos like this one.

13th Place Food & Drinks JUDGES COMMENTS: This one is included on expression, purely. Notice the mimicking of the gesture with open mouths around the frame. Funny, and a well collected frame with faces forming the boundaries of the principle action, and drawing attention to it and complementing it.

18th Place Humour JUDGES COMMENTS: A great reaction from the flower girl and her escort. Priceless expression. Did they kiss? You want to know and can only imagine.
